Forney packaged burners are carrying the load in
industrial and institutional steam plants, utility power plants,
refineries, pulp and paper plants and low NOx retrofits. Forney can
provide low NOx, low excess air, and process heating burners firing a
wide range of fuels, including refinery gases and waste fuels. Forney's
line of low NOx burners are highly efficient, state-of-the-art burner
systems. Using unique fuel staging techniques, our low NOx burners
accomplish NOx emissions reductions to 20 ppm with little or no flue gas
recirculation. Forney burners maintain stable combustion conditions and
also limit CO and other air pollution emissions to extremely low levels
Founded in
1927, Forney has supplied thousands of traditional burners and over 400
low NOx burner installations worldwide. Typical applications include the
following:
-
Watertube Boilers
- Packaged (single
burner applications) and Field Erected (multiple burner
applications) with burner capacities to 300 MMBTU/HR
-
Firetube / Firebox Boilers
- burner
capacities of 60 to 1500 HP
- Boiler Retrofits / Optimization
- New Burner Installation (using existing windbox, fans and trains
as applicable)
- Burner Optimization ("fine-tune" existing burners for optimum
performance)
- Specialty Burner Applications -
including Dryers, Oxidizers and Heaters
-
SCR
Reheater Applications
- High Velocity
Burners for flue gas heating and SCR performance
Forney offers an economical pre-packaged system. The
scope of supply typically includes the windbox-burner-FD fan, Fireye
E-110 or PLC-based burner management system, fuel trains and other
electrical devices mounted to the windbox and factory wired for quick
installation. Forney's experienced staff of combustion engineers can
tackle your tough projects, including stringent low NOx requirements,
